About This Project

For Visit Seattle’s presence at IMEX America, I concepted, designed, and spearheaded the production of a fully immersive trade show booth that made Seattle impossible to ignore—standing out among global heavyweights like Paris, New York, and London, all on a lean budget.

At the center of the booth was an 18-foot-tall custom-built Space Needle, complete with animated elevator lights, a color-changing crown, and a blinking red beacon—modular, shippable, and reusable by design. We also recreated Seattle’s infamous Gum Wall, complete with gumball machines, a faux brick alley backdrop, and a whole lot of crowd participation (and chewing).

The booth featured two massive video screens—one looping a 20-minute reel of Seattle’s most cinematic B-roll, the other serving as a classroom-style space for live education sessions led by our sales team. The entire environment was branded top to bottom and built to handle up to 16 simultaneous meetings, blending spectacle with real functionality.

From concept through execution—including custom fabrication, environmental design, interactive elements, and video integration—I led every creative detail. The result? A booth that turned heads, drew crowds, and proved Seattle knows how to show up and show off.
